Wisconsin Lighting Lab Named LED Light Fixture Manufacturer for Major Military Base

WISCONSIN-MADE LED FIXTURES SELECTED TO LIGHT A BASE LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE EAST

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (August 18, 2020) – Wisconsin Lighting Lab, Inc. (WiLL), a company specializing in high-output LED lighting technology and professional-grade light poles, was selected as the LED lighting vendor for Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan by Inglett & Stubbs International. The LED lighting upgrade for the first phase of the project replaced 1,030 1000w HID fixtures to reduce energy consumption by up to 80 percent and help improve force protection at the United States military base.

After completing a pilot program, WiLL’s 355w Heritage Sportslighter LED fixture was selected for installation throughout the base. The fixture proved to be both reliable and durable enough to withstand the intense conditions, and all fixtures were manufactured at WiLL’s Fond du Lac-based factory. 

“WiLL was an amazing partner on this project and worked diligently to help keep the deliveries on schedule even through the COVID-19 pandemic,” Casey Laws, project manager for Inglett & Stubbs International, said. “This project was extremely successful, and this design-build project resulted in completion two-weeks ahead of our period of performance deadline.”
