High-Output LED Baseball Field Lighting Solution | AHS, Alamogordo, NM

Alamogordo HS baseball field's existing HID lighting had reached end-of-life, and the high school was ready to upgrade to new LED lighting. Not only would the new LED fixtures enhance light levels and clarity on the field, but it would also offer lower operating and maintenance costs.

To complete the project, AHS turned to Rodney at Zuni Electric and the experts at Wisconsin Lighting Lab, Inc. (WiLL). The existing 1500w HID lights were replaced with WiLL's high-output Helios LED light fixtures, which were mounted on 60- and 70-foot round tapered steel light poles. All Helios fixtures were equipped with GlareKillers to help reduce light spill and glare on the field.

Rodney and the school were impressed with both the quality of the lights and the quality of the sales support WiLL provided – from quote to installation. AHS looks forward to baseball games played under the lights for years to come.
