Turtle Friendly LED Bollard Fixtures for Coastal Poolside Project

Tommy, a valued regular WiLL customer, reached out to our sales team with a unique lighting project. He needed fixtures to illuminate his poolside application. Due to the proximity of the beach, Orange Beach, AL required the fixtures to be turtle-friendly.

WiLL provided 9x Amber LED, Turtle Friendly fixtures. They are 15w flat top round bollard lights with louvers and 270 Deg. shields. These fixtures were the perfect fit for this turtle-friendly application.

The amber fixtures prevent disruption with wildlife nesting and hatching. This is achieved with special wavelengths of light that sea turtles would not recognize as moonlight. In addition to the amber lighting, the 270 deg. shields ensure that light is projected only onto the desired target area.
