Position Summary
Wisconsin Lighting Lab, Inc. is seeking a Sales Project Coordinator to support customer projects, inside sales activity, customer communication, quoting, order support, vendor coordination, and cross-functional follow-up.
This position is an entry point into WiLL’s sales department and is designed to help the right person learn the fundamentals of the company, products, vendors, customers, sales process, quoting process, order flow, and project lifecycle. The role provides broad exposure to how WiLL serves customers from initial inquiry through quote, order, production, shipment, and post-sale support.
The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, customer-focused, comfortable with technology, and interested in building a long-term career in sales, project management, account management, regional sales, or another customer-facing business role.
Prior lighting experience is not required. Experience in manufacturing, customer service, sales support, distribution, construction, operations, hands-on work, or order coordination is a plus.
Key Responsibilities

Support customer, contractor, distributor, representative, and internal sales requests.

Help gather project information, product requirements, quantities, pricing needs, shipping details, and customer expectations.

Assist with quote preparation, quote updates, quote follow-up, and sales support activities.

Maintain accurate customer, quote, order, opportunity, and project information in company systems.

Provide customers and sales team members with updates on order status, lead times, shipping, documentation, and general project questions.

Help coordinate project details between sales, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, shipping, vendors, contractors, and customers.

Track open quotes, pending approvals, missing information, order details, project notes, and follow-up tasks.

Assist with customer service requests, replacement parts, returns, warranty intake, and issue resolution.

Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, pricing, availability, order information, and follow-up details when needed.

Support purchase order processing, vendor follow-up, and vendor-related issue resolution.

Assist with shipping updates, tracking information, delivery communication, and order coordination.

Learn and use company software systems, sales tools, CRM/ERP platforms, product databases, and internal workflows.

Help create and improve checklists, templates, documentation, and internal sales support processes.

Perform other sales, customer support, project coordination, order support, vendor support, and logistics duties as needed.
