The latest WiLLcloud+ product release focuses on features customers use most: scheduling, site navigation, system control, and user management. The result is a faster, cleaner, and easier-to-manage WiLLcloud+ experience for facility managers, athletic departments, parks departments, schools, municipalities, and multi-site operators.
Most importantly, this update makes schedules significantly easier to create, pause, reuse, and manage. From improved solar-aware scheduling to enable/disable schedule toggles, V2.2 is designed to make day-to-day lighting automation simpler and more flexible.
What's Improved in WiLLcloud+ V2.2
Simplified Scheduling for an Improved Experience
Scheduling has always been one of the most important parts of WiLLcloud+, especially for customers who use lighting automation for practices/games, security lighting, facility operations, special events, and seasonal programming. In V2.2, schedules are now easier to digest at a glance, create, and manage over time.
Enable or Disable Schedules Without Deleting Them
One of the biggest improvements in V2.2 is the ability to enable or disable individual schedules. Previously, if a customer wanted to stop using a schedule, they often had to delete it. Now, users simply toggle a schedule on or off. Schedules can be saved, paused, adjusted, and reused as facility needs change.

A Simpler Schedule Creation Workflow
V2.2 introduces a cleaner and more intuitive schedule creation experience. The updated workflow makes it easier to create both fixed-time schedules and solar-aware schedules, while simplifying repeat event and end-time setup. Customers can more easily create schedules for daily practice lighting, security or overnight lighting, weekend facility events, seasonal/holiday lighting schedules, special-event programming, dusk-to-dawn operation, and sunrise/sunset-based automation.
Improved Solar-Aware Scheduling
Solar-aware scheduling is significantly improved in V2.2. Each site now stores its latitude and longitude directly in system settings. WiLLcloud+ uses those coordinates to automatically detect the site's timezone and improve how sunrise and sunset-based schedules are calculated and displayed.

For most customers, this is a set-it-and-forget-it improvement. Once the site location is configured, users can create solar-aware schedules without repeatedly managing time zone settings on each event.
Schedule Custom RGB Colors
For RGB-enabled WiLLcloud+ sites, V2.2 adds more flexible color scheduling. Customers can now schedule custom colors using a color wheel or specific RGB values. This means RGB-enabled systems are no longer limited to scheduling only pre-programmed color options.
Users can create and schedule custom color looks for school colors, holiday lighting, theme nights, community events, special announcements, and branded facility experiences.
A Faster, Cleaner User Experience
In V2.2, the overall WiLLcloud+ experience has also been modernized. The controls app is rebuilt on a faster, more responsive framework, improving load times and making interactions feel smoother across the platform.

The updated controls app is designed to feel faster, cleaner, and more responsive. Users should notice improved load times, smoother navigation, faster interaction with controls, a more consistent interface, and a more polished overall experience.
Faster Multi-Site Navigation
For customers with access to multiple WiLLcloud+ systems, V2.2 makes it faster to find and access the correct site. The new experience uses a single alphabetical list with a quick search filter, making it much easier to narrow the list and jump to the right system.
This is especially helpful for customers managing multiple fields, facilities, campuses, parks, or systems. The goal is simple: spend less time searching for the right system and more time controlling it.
Dark and Light Mode
WiLLcloud+ now includes a user-selectable dark/light mode toggle. Dark mode works well in low-light environments such as press boxes, control rooms, evening events, and night games. Light mode provides a bright, familiar experience for daytime use.
Improved Mobile and Tablet Experience
WiLLcloud+ is often used away from a desk. Customers may access the system from a phone on the sideline, a tablet in a gym, a laptop in the press box, or a mobile device while walking through a facility. V2.2 includes improved mobile responsiveness, with optimized layouts for phones and tablets.
Clearer Control States
V2.2 improves the visual language of selected controls. Buttons such as No Scene and No Show now match the selected-state styling used across the rest of the interface. This eliminates ambiguity about whether a button is merely highlighted or actively selected.
Better Zone Organization
For larger systems with many zones, V2.2 adds Expand All and Collapse All controls. This makes it easier to manage complex systems without unnecessary scrolling or visual clutter. Users can quickly open all zone controls when they need full visibility or collapse them when they want a cleaner view.
Better Administration and System Management
V2.2 also improves how WiLLcloud+ systems are configured and managed. These updates are especially useful as more organizations rely on WiLLcloud+ across multiple users, multiple facilities, and more advanced scheduling workflows.
Site Location Settings
Each WiLLcloud+ site can now store latitude and longitude in system settings. This location data supports improved solar-aware scheduling and automatic time zone detection. Rather than selecting a time zone on each schedule, the site location can be configured once during commissioning and used by the system going forward.
Improved User Management
Owners and Admins can now manage user access directly inside WiLLcloud+. This gives customers a cleaner and more professional way to add or remove users as staffing, operations, or facility responsibilities change.

This update provides clearer language and more practical permission levels. For organizations with multiple people involved in lighting control - athletic directors, coaches, facility managers, maintenance teams, administrators, and event staff - this makes WiLLcloud+ easier to manage over time.

V2.2 also includes a new Feature Request area where users can share feedback directly with the WiLL Team. This helps keep future WiLLcloud+ development connected to real-world use. For urgent service or support needs, customers should continue using their normal WiLL support channels.

Availability
WiLLcloud+ V2.2 is live now and will be rolled out automatically to WiLLcloud+ systems. Customers do not need to install anything or take action to receive the update. Some features may depend on system configuration, installed hardware, lighting capabilities, RGB enablement, or user permissions.
