Inside Sales & Support Specialist

POSITION BACKGROUND

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales & Support Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing & Sales department. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our sales teams in achieving company goals by providing exceptional customer service, managing sales support activities, and identifying new sales opportunities. Additionally, you will play a role in post-sale support, including handling vendor purchase orders, shipping, and tracking information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Development
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and prospects to identify sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to create and execute sales strategies
  • Utilize CRM and other sales tools to track and manage leads and opportunities
  • Attend sales meetings and events to represent the company and promote our products and services
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales campaigns and promotions
Quoting and Order Processing
  • Become a product expert and prepare accurate and timely quotes for customers and partners
  • Review and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Manage and maintain customer records and order history
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order-related issues
Vendor Management and Purchase Orders 
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing
  • Process purchase orders and ensure accuracy
  • Monitor vendor performance and help address any issues or concerns
Shipping and Logistics
  • Coordinate with shipping and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of customer orders
  • Track shipments and provide updates to customers as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve shipping-related issues

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales support or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with handling vendor purchase orders, shipping processes, and tracking information.
