POSITION BACKGROUND

We are a lighting and infrastructure technology company looking for an experienced Audio Visual Programmer/Technician to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming custom light shows and deploying them over the air across the country using industry standards as well as proprietary systems and software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and program custom light shows for various sports, entertainment, and commercial applications
• Develop and maintain a library of lighting effects and sequences
• Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and engineering teams to create and execute lighting concepts
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to lighting and programming
• Ensure that all light shows are deployed over the air using industry standards as well as proprietary software
• Maintain and update the company's lighting systems and software
• Travel to various locations across the country to oversee the deployment of light shows
• Document all programming and deployment processes

QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for music, lighting, and creating awesome products and environments
• Experience in audio-visual programming or a related field preferred 
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and software for lighting and programming
• Experience with lighting systems and software such as DMX, Art-Net, or sACN
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel as needed
