WiLL Sales Coordinator

Position Background 

WiLL’s dynamic team of sales pros and lighting experts is seeking its newest addition – our sales coordinator. A self-starter, our ideal candidate is eager to learn from a team of experienced salespeople and engage with internal teams and our customers as they work to field incoming sales calls and develop new sales relationships. 

A vital part of the sales team, the coordinator provides inside sales support, develops quotes, processes orders, helps manage our Salesforce database, and provides timely and relevant updates across all levels of management. This position is the first step in our sales organization and focuses on providing customer service while building the foundational skills to create a successful sales manager in the years to come.

With room for growth and professional development, our sales team serves as an intermediary, actively engaging in conversations and projects with our onsite production, engineering, accounting, and marketing departments. Our team brings an aptitude for technology and competitive drive to the table – helping support a consistent revenue growth year-over-year for 13 years running. 

Position Overview + Responsibilities

  • Leverage CRM applications, including Salesforce, to track all pertinent customer, opportunity, and project information
  • Develop deep expertise of WiLL’s products, solutions, sales channels, industry structure, etc.
  • Interface with customers and sales support staff to interpret and communicate engineering documents, architectural drawings, and specification sheets with various parties
  • Field inbound sales calls and build pipeline of customers - providing quotes and following up as needed
  • Vet and contact new leads, building relationships with relevant customers and accounts
  • Process online orders, payments, and payment receipts as needed
  • Manage post-sales communication with customers and vendors addressing any comments/questions/concerns/requests as they arise
  • Actively communicating across the sales team, providing relevant project/account updates

Qualifications

  • Entry-level: Bachelor’s or associate's degree and/or 1-2 years of relevant experience 
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with demonstrated energy, initiative, and ability to hit goals
  • Demonstrated integrity and team-driven approach to work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with the ability to learn and operate new software and programs
  • Effective time-management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An interest or background in technology, computers, etc. is a requirement
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude is a plus
  • Strong work ethic, passion, positive energy, and desire to learn every day
